Free LED Light Bulbs at Local Food Pantries
The JCED is working with local food pantries to provide Jackson County residents with free LED light bulbs.
Swapping incandescent bulbs to LEDs in your home saves energy and money. LED bulbs are up to 85% more efficient and last 15-25 times longer than traditional bulbs. For example, a four-pack of LED bulbs can save over $360 in electric costs over the lifespan of the bulbs. This project is funded in part through generous grant awards from our local Theisen’s and Walmart stores.
