Free LED Light Bulbs at Local Food Pantries

The JCED will be working with local food pantries throughout 2021 to provide Jackson County residents with free LED light bulbs.

Swapping incandescent bulbs to LEDs in the home saves energy and money. For example, a four-pack of LED bulbs provided to a household can save over $360 in electric costs over the lifespan of the bulbs. This project is funded in part through generous grant awards from our local Theisen’s and Walmart stores.
