JCED Welcomes Two New Program Coordinators

Jackson County Energy District is proud to announce the hiring of two new Program Coordinators!

Benjamin Davison is a graduate of the University of Iowa’s School of Planning & Public Affairs, currently serving as Vice-Chair of the nonprofit Maquoketa Betterment Corporation as a planner and community advocate. Benjamin was raised in Maquoketa, IA, where he developed a love for Jackson County’s communities and natural sites. Benjamin is passionate about the impact that energy-efficient technologies and conservation techniques can offer, and is excited to see his community benefit from the efforts of the Jackson County Energy District in utilizing them. Benjamin formerly served as the Secretary for the JCED and currently works as a Program Coordinator.

Ashlee Bratthauer is a recent transplant to Eastern Iowa. She grew up in a rural farming community in central Iowa, where she developed a strong connection to agriculture and the natural world. Her upbringing instilled a deep appreciation for the hard work involved in farming and the rural lifestyle. At Des Moines Area Community College, she discovered her passion for sustainability and conservation in agriculture. Ashlee is excited to promote energy efficiency and conservation initiatives in Jackson County, collaborating with farmers and community members to implement sustainable practices that enhance productivity while protecting the environment.
